Preliminary Results of Axem Clinical Study Presented at 2022 Symposium of Western Australian Neuroscience

Axem Neurotechnology Inc. is proud to acknowledge Taya Hamilton's recent presentation of preliminary findings from our joint project with the Center for Neurotechnology and Neurorecovery, Department of Neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. The presentation, delivered at the 2022 Symposium of Western Australian Neuroscience, underscores the progress and innovation in our collaborative research.

Taya Hamilton's presentation focused on a new clinical trial combining portable functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) with an intensive telerehabilitation program for stroke recovery. This study, titled "Combining Portable Functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (fNIRS) and an Intensive Telerehabilitation Program to Augment Upper Extremity Motor Recovery After Stroke," explores the use of fNIRS in at-home rehabilitation settings. It provided insights into how this technology is being integrated into therapist-led and asynchronous app-based exercise sessions.

This collaboration represents a significant step forward in exploring advanced technologies for rehabilitation. We are excited about the ongoing study and its contributions to the field.
